This heart for young people dramatically changed the lives of Aminadab and his wife, Dianne Mukarukundo. They realized that many children and teens do not go to school due to a lack of school fees, causing side effects for their families and their own lives in the future. They came up with the idea of starting the ‘Saved to Serve’ sponsorship program. It began as a feeding program with a small number of children who were begging for food. We soon realized that feeding them was not enough to support their lives into the future. Through ‘Saved to Serve,’ we are able to send 100 children and teens to school. Before, they were crying. Now, they are smiling as they see their future through education. It costs US$30 per month for school fees per child. With other expenses like food and shelter, the total cost is US$60 per month.
